This year we are hoping to raise some Holiday cheer for a Non-profit near and dear to the heart of our staff member, Kelly. Home at Last Sanctuary (HAL) is a non-profit whose mission is to provide a loving and healthy forever home to dogs with no other option. HAL takes in dogs who have been deemed “unadoptable” for many different reasons: age, chronic health issues, and behavioral issues. For these dogs, a typical home is not appropriate.
The lifestyle at HAL allows dogs to be themselves without the pressures that come with some in-home living. Dogs have constant access to warm buildings as well as wide open spaces to run and play with their friends as they see fit. HAL offers a FOREVER home to these dogs, they will never be adopted out because HAL is a Sanctuary and not a rescue. Due to the nature of a Sanctuary, HAL is always in need of gently used bedding as well as dog food, treats, and toys for over 100 dogs!
This Holiday season, between 12/1-12/18, we are asking for donations of gently used blankets, towels, dog beds, and toys; as well as bags of dog food and treats. We will have a donation box in our front lobby and donations can be dropped off any time of the day. We also want to honor those who donate with a Christmas ornament to hang on the tree in our lobby!
Kelly will bring all collected donations to HAL on Wednesday, December 20th.
