Meet Our Staff

The Minnesota Veterinary Hospital Staff is committed to providing convenient, competitively priced, top quality veterinary care. Our complete full-service small animal care facility has been providing excellence in veterinary surgery and medicine since 1968. The comfort and well being of our patients is always our top priority.

Baylee Luke, Animal Care Attendant

Currently has an Associates in Arts degree from Century College. When she first became a part of MVH she was pursuing an undergraduate degree in Veterinary Technology but changed her major and is currently pursuing an Associates degree in Business Administrative Assistance/Office Technology.

Areas of Interest:
Aside from working at MVH and going to school at Century College, Baylee loves going up north to her cabin in the summer time and being around friends and family. She has always had a passion for animals and even though she changed her major she still plans on incorporating animals into her career.

Baylee currently has no pets of her own but would love to foster and eventually adopt a rescue one day.

Ruth Peloquin, New Volunteer

Retired - 30 years from City of St. Paul.
This is her 2nd Summer with MVH walking dogs and staying active. She has a rescued cat named Sampson, who has been a patient at MVH for 4 yrs. Not to mention he highly recommends the dedicated/professional staff at MVH! Our boarding animals greatly appreciate her willingness to escort them outside and roam.

Zach, Animal Care Attendant

Zach obtained his Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University in 2017 with a major in Environmental Studies.

Areas of Interest:
After graduation he spent time as a volunteer at the Bimini Biological Field Station in the Bahamas where he monitored shark populations and behaviors for conservation research. In 2018 he spent the year working in the Veterinary Science department at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, California where he assisted with the patient database and organized statistics for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association. He joined our team at the start of 2019 and is currently applying to veterinary schools where he plans to focus on aquatic wildlife.
At home, Zach has had several pets since childhood including an African fat-tailed gecko, a Miniature Schnauzer, and a Yorkie-Shitzu. In his free time he likes to spend time outdoors; he especially enjoys sailing, scuba diving, hiking, and camping with friends and family.
